The lunch set is around 20-30 but you have don and udon at the same time ! Waitresses were very nice and friendly. They happen to have a little cute Japanese lucky draw. That’s very interesting. We won two little chocolates. I would definitely recommend visiting this place. ”

Especially the chu-toro and shime saba, which were melt-in-your-mouth good. The unagi was super thick and rich, way better than what I usually find elsewhere, and the whole meal felt more like a casual omakase experience. The place is low-key inside, but the service is quick and smooth. It’s definitely not cheap, but if you're looking for quality over quantity, Edokko totally delivers. ”

“ We really enjoyed our meal here. The nigiri/sushi were a bit pricey compared to other places we've been, but the cuts of fish are very generous and reflect the higher price. For our bite size, it was a bit large. They give you the option for a smaller portion of rice and next time we'll probably ask for that. The Gindara Gozen was beautifully presented (I took a rushed, bad picture) and all the gozens look like great values. The cod was well seasoned and cooked. We definitely want to try some of the others next time. The service was great. The servers are all so kind and attentive, and a chef greets everyone. We did have to wait about an hour on the wait list, so recommend checking online. ”

We’ve gone for lunch and dinner, it doesn’t matter, it’s all so good. Love that they have seasonal specials too. “ the unagi was actually sOoo fatty, soft, and melty, and it was so good with the rice — like you can literally see the gleam of the unagi in the photo. it was a little bit pricey, but i don’t really regret it because of how yummy it was. i liked eating the unagi don with the stock and with all the different toppings, so the meal never really got boring. this is probably the highest quality unagi don you can get in vancouver?? and i just love the traditional japanese vibe of the restaurant. the beef sirloin tataki was kinda just okay...? like i don’t think tataki is usually that flavourful so i can’t really hold it against the dish, but it just really wasn’t my thing. ”
